
Clovis Point wines won 5 medals in the prestigious 2007 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition
held in Rochester, New York, March 31—
April 1, 2007. It was open to commercial wineries from
the United States, Canada, and all wine-producing
countries.
The competition attracted 2100 wines from 13 countries and 34 states!
A diverse, highly skilled group of judges was invited
to participate, including sommeliers, educators, wine
makers, writers, importers, retailers, and industry
consultants.
Clovis Point entered five wines in the competition and all five won medals. Our 2004 Vintner's Select Merlot (our higher end Merlot which will be released shortly) won a Silver Medal. Our 2004 Tank and Barrel fermented Chards took bronze as did our 2003 and 2004 Merlots. Clovis Point also won three medals at the International Eastern Wine Competition. The 2004 Tank Chardonnay won a silver and our Merlots took bronze.
